60-Day Greyhound Pass for USA - Around £300
Kit and Insurance - £200
Looking like around £8k total for the 6 months. I'm hoping I can find work in Australia so I can stay out there a few more months. I'd love to extend it to a year, and I think I'm being quite generous with my budget considering the following:
- I'm staying in cheap hostels and happy to rough it,
- I'm a lightweight,
- I can be a stingy bastard when I need to be (for example, now!)
