Strange day today.
Very scatty.
I managed to spill a whole black coffee all over Richard's desk. In 3 and a half years, I've never done that.
Good chat with Ben, I think we're both at a crossroads at the moment. We are equally fed up at work and need to get out sooner rather than later before we go insane. I sometimes wonder what would happen if I did indeed spend the rest of my life in Kent, or in England for that matter. Would I go insane? Is it too much to ask to have a fun life, or does work and responsibility ultimately prevent you from doing what you want to do in life?
Fun. That's a word I haven't used nearly enough as I should recently. I have fun talking to Ella. I have fun when I'm out with certain people. I had the most fun when I was in love. It's funny, you can go for a long walk with a mate and it's just a long walk. But go for a long walk with the woman you love and it's amazing. You feel like you could walk with them for miles without getting tired.
Ignored Si today... Figured I should surround myself with people I want to be around. People who bring out the best in me, not the worst.
I wonder where Ella is tonight... haven't had a good old chinwag since Thursday night. Hopefully I'll catch her on the weekend. There's someone who I want to be around. Hmm... only 3325 miles away. Boston sounds awesome. You ever wonder how someone else perceives you? I sit here looking forward to talking to an ex-girlfriend who lives a million miles away, waiting impatiently for Skype to pop up in the corner and say hello. I wonder if she ever thinks about me. And if so, how? How do I perceive her? Is she a friend? Is she an ex? Is there something in-between?
I'm eagerly anticipating the weekend. I think Friday will be my Xbox night, although with the right offer I could be tempted to put my face on and venture out, and then Saturday I'll whack on some tunes, get the 'Whyte and Mackay' out and paint this bedroom. Pink isn't a good colour for a single guy.
Shame, I was growing quite fond of it :)
